As soon as you have achieved with your character level 60, an important decision is attributable to: the pondering (unless you already have a hero at level 60 and you opted for the option "threads of fate"). As soon as you have chosen a pact, you will receive a quest that starts your pact campaign and send you to the Sanctum of your pact. This quest is the first step on the direct path to the final game content of patch 9.2. But be confessed: You do not have to play through the complete campaign until the start of the update "end of eternity". Instead, you have a variety of ways to skip individual parts of the campaign.

As soon as you have accepted the first quest of your pact, the first chapter of the pact campaign begins. This chapter will definitely be completed so you open later parts of the story of Shadowlands. The tasks that you are doing now are therefore important because they lead you to various endgame features of Shadowlands, including the manufacture of legendary items. You visited Torghast, the tower of the damn in the Schlund and get to know the rune forgue. In addition, you free the two skills of your pact - a general and a specific for your class. If you have not yet completed no part of Shadowland's campaign with any character of your accounts, you must first complete the other chapters of the campaign and then play through the Korthia intro.

Have your Korthia unlocked, you can leave the area otherwise left. You will then automatically receive the quest "Call of the Primus" in Oribos, with which the story of Patch 9.2 starts and as a result of which you will be in the new Zereth mortis area. If you have arrived through the new portal in Zereth Mortis, you have to complete a few follow-up quests (a total of 13 at the number) before you unlock a permanent portal to Oribos. After that, she travels flexibly between Oribos and Zereth Mortis back and forth.
