Forget PS5 and Xbox Series X! The best console has almost no one on the note

Xbox Series S: Nobody takes the next-gene console seriously

Both Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5 have almost been sold out since the release at the end of last year. But one of the next-gene consoles can be easily bought today, because apparently hardly anyone is interested in them: The Xbox Series S. and that, though the console in my eyes is the most interesting and promising device of the new generation. But what fascinates me to Microsoft's Light version of the Xbox Series X?

The biggest strength of the Xbox Series S is her fabulous value for money. While I have to pack for Xbox Series X and the disc version of the PlayStation 5 equally whopping 500 euros, I get with the Xbox Series S a Next -Gen console for austerity price. Currently, you get them for cheap 270 euros — therefore pays almost only half compared to the big brother and the competition of Sony.

Sure, the Xbox Series S can not compete powerfully with the Series X — especially when it comes to graphic power. Nevertheless, Microsoft also sets the Good and Cheap model on an arrow-fast SSD, Ray tracing and the support of 120 Hz. All other important functions of the Xbox Series X can be found again at the Series S. So if you can do without it, that his games in native 4k over the TV flicker, can save money with the Xbox Series S.

For casual players who do not have to play everything directly to the release, the console is even twice interesting. Because thanks to the Xbox Game Pass for 9.99 euros a month you get access to over 100 different games. So you probably have to play enough for a while. And since the offer is updated in the Game Pass at regular intervals, you also do not run the danger that you really have played everything at some point.

But not on the data sheet, the Xbox Series S can fully convince in my eyes. Also the body of the many spurned next-gene console makes really something. While the Xbox Series X is quite practiced by its edged design, and fits in almost every living room's cabin in the world, the design of the PlayStation 5 is in my opinion fully lifted off.

The Xbox Series S is not only much smaller than the other two models, but has almost the optics of a stylized speaker, simple, timeless, chic, thanks to the big radiator grill on the side of the console — just, timeless, chic!

But I admit: that's a matter of taste. There are probably many people who detest the design of the Xbox Series S. I, however, find it absolutely brilliant!
