XBox Series X | S: Is a memory expansion card worthwhile?
Do I need a memory expansion card? All games for the Xbox Series X can only be installed on the internal memory or the intended extension.
On the Xbox Series X are around 800 GB of free memory available. On the Xbox Series S, around 360 GB is usable for games and apps.
Appbox One, Xbox One, Xbox 360 or the original Xbox console that runs downward compatibility on the new consoles can be installed on USB saving. For this you do not need internal memory, but then does not benefit from the benefits of the memory.
Worth a memory upgrade? Basically, the on your current situation depends on whether such a memory upgrade is really worthwhile.
If you choose mainly old games and does not need the speed boost, a larger internal memory is worth a conditional, as you can buy a cheaper, external hard drive instead. External hard drives are significantly cheaper on average than the memory expansion card from Seagate.
However, if you want to benefit from high speed and all the top titles of the Xbox Series X | S Zock, then no way at the memory expansion card runs. Because the map of Seagate is currently the only way to expand the internal memory. Whether there will be other possibilities here in the future, is all about Microsoft.
